The Bush Calls
MAILUA RETREAT is nestled in virgin scrubland with acacia and enguswa trees blending in to provide that peaceful setting, the Mailua Retreat provides you with a welcome break.
Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax awhile in these tranquil and rustic surroundings.
On early mornings you can behold Mt. Kilimanjaro to the Southeast. In the evenings view the beautiful sunset as it drops over the Oljoroorok hills.
The big banda provides a comfortable day or night time chat area while guests can also sit down to African bush meals in the adjacent thatched banda with the gentle rustling of the nearby acacia.
We aim to give you that quiet, relaxed, rejuvenating break. And, when youre up to some adventure, try our nature hikes, bike rides and visit to the neighbouring Masai villages.
4 thatched rondavels all en-suite and a campsite for 10 tents are ready for use.
Each rondavel can accommodate either a single, twin or double bed. The simple but charming interiors reflect the original brick markings and creative makuti thatching.
For camp lovers we have extensive grounds for a campsite for up to ten guests.
And for those willing to explore the rustic, a traditional Masai village is under completion and will soon be ready for upto 10 guests
We offer the Following Activities:
